WITCHES BREW: UNERGROUND HEAVY METAL LABEL BASED IN GERMANY

WITCHES BREW is an underground record label based out of Germany. The name was inspired by the MANILLA ROAD song 'Witches Brew'. Previous to starting the label I ran an online zine called The Metal Gospel. It was through the zine that I was exposed to some really cool demos from unsigned bands which got me thinking: "I would sign these guys if I had my own label !". I made it a reality in early 2002.

Since my husband and I both have labels and distros I decided it would be better to consolidate, that way you get a better choice of stuff and I only have to update one place instead of two. Visit the newly revamped BASAR for all your Thrash, Death, Black, Heavy Metal needs !

HAMMERWHORE are finished with their debut for Witches Brew. I got the master and let me tell you, it�s fucking AWESOME ! We�re still waiting on the artwork but hope to have this mad thrasher out in a few months. New prints for t-shirts have been ordered as well as some new 1.5" buttons with 5 different designs. Also coming in 2005, HAMMERWHORE sew-on logo patches ! More on that as soon as we iron out the details. For now check out the MP3s and start drooling for this fantastic slab of Thrash greatness ! The songs for the LETHAL 7 inch, tentatively titled "Deliverance", have been finished and are on their way to our lair. We hope to get this out in the next months, depending on the artwork which is still in the works. In other news, drummer Emil has returned to the band. MP3s from their excellent 2004 demo, "Demolition" are online so download them and thrash your brains out !

SCYTHE have already started rehearsing for the new album which will continue where "Poetry Of Illusions" left off. A lot of work still has to be done though. The new album, as of yet untitled, will contain 8 or 9 songs with a running time of about 60 minutes. The tour that was in the works is currently on hold, however, the band will still be playing live on May 13th, 2005 at the Headbangers Ballroom in Hamburg.

VEXED's masterpiece of Thrash Metal, "Destruction Warfare" is out now ! CD includes special video and band info / pictures, etc as bonus track. Prepare for destruction warfare and bang til death !! The band is currently putting together tourdates for their 2005 Warfare tour. Some of them have already been announced so visit their website or band section here to see if they are thrashing through your town ! More dates will be added as they become available.
